Williams Township Resident Arrested for Aggravated Distribution and Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

WILLIAMS TWP., MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Matthew David Personett, 41, of Williams Township, for aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material and possession of child sexually abusive material.
Personett was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Personett was uploading child sexually abusive materials to the internet.
Following the search warrant at his residence, Personett was charged with aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material and possession of child sexually abusive material. Personett was arraigned in 74th District Court on Monday, April 19.
