Tuscola County Man Arrested for Aggravated Distribution and Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

FOSTORIA, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Michael Dennis Damiani, 55 of Fostoria, for aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material, aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime.
Damiani surrendered himself to the court following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Damiani was sharing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Following the search warrant to his residence, Damiani was charged with 12 counts of aggravated distribution of child sexually abusive material, 13 counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and 25 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Damiani was arraigned in 71B District Court on Wednesday, September 22.
