Traverse City Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

TRAVERSE CITY, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Austin Micheal McKittrick, 28, of Traverse City, for child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
The investigation was initiated when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). A search of McKittrick’s home resulted in several electronic devices being seized.
McKittrick was charged with three counts of child sexually abusive activity for reproduction of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. McKittrick was arraigned in 86th District Court on Thursday, June 2.
The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post.
