Saginaw Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

SAGINAW, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Joshua Allen Swift, 37 of Saginaw, for possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
Swift was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Swift was viewing child sexually abusive materials on the internet.
Following the search warrant to his residence, Swift was charged with two counts of possession of child sexually abusive material and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Swift was arraigned in 70th District Court on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
