Otsego County Resident Arrested for Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material

OTSEGO, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Walter Carl Moblo Jr., 45 of Gaylord, for child sexually abusive material – possession.

The investigation was initiated when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). As a result of the investigation, several electronic devices were seized from his home.

Moblo was charged with two counts of child sexually abusive material – possession. Moblo was arraigned in 87A District Court on Monday, August 27. The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the MSP Gaylord Post, the Otsego County Sheriff’s Department and the MSP Cyber K-9 Unit.
