Lapeer Resident Arrested for Aggravated Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material and Using a Computer to Commit a Crime

Wurschmidt was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from her home. The investigation was initiated when it was learned that Wurschmidt was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.

Following the search warrant to her residence, Wurschmidt was charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Wurschmidt was arraigned in 71-A District Court on Monday, November 15th.
